True acceptance—as with the more recent debates over gay marriage—has been decades in the making.

Only recently, in fact, have Americans embraced interracial marriage in overwhelming numbers. Overall, approval went up slowly during the civil rights era, stalled in the 1980s short of a majority, but jumped after 1995, reaching a high of 87 percent today.

Influential group of 5,000 US scholars votes to boycott Israel

A powerful group of US scholars has voted to launch an academic boycott of Israeli colleges and universities. With a membership in the thousands, the group has become the largest academic collective to protest Israel’s treatment of Palestinians.

The American Studies Association (ASA) announced Monday that its nearly 5,000 members voted in favor of the boycott by a 2-to-1 margin on Sunday night. A total of 1,252 members voted on the issue, with 66 percent voting ‘yes’ and 30 percent voting ‘no.’ Three percent abstained from voting altogether.

The boycott calls on US schools and academic research groups to end all work with Israeli groups. It does allow individual Israeli scholars to still attend conferences and speak at American universities, as long as they do not do so in any official capacity of the government.

The couple was targeted because they are white Norwegians. The illegal alien perps indicated that the attack and robbery was retaliation for their scheduled deportation. Apparently this type of crime is common in Norway. Just days ago an illegal immigrant from the Sudan murdered three people, including a 19 year old girl, in retaliation for a scheduled deportation. The triple murderer was scheduled to be deported one day after he went on his killing spree.

The two illegal aliens who robbed Opheim and Gjuvsland were quickly apprehended. One was sentenced to a year and a half in a lavish Norwegian prison. In Norway the prisons are more luxurious than many discount motels in the United States. The younger perp was placed in one of Norway’s fence-less juvenile detention centers. He simply walked away and has never been seen again since.

Opheim and Gjuvsland now say the worst part of being attacked and robbed was that they were “in peril” of developing “racist” attitudes towards immigrants. They also worried that their neighbors might suspect the ordeal had driven them to have “racist” attitudes. So they wrote a book exonerating immigrants who commit crimes in Norway. They even wrote a piece for a Norwegian paper claiming that white Norwegians are “racists” and therefore deserve to be victims of non-white immigrants.

The gruesome rape marathon lasted for 7 hours. 11 suspect may have been involved taking turns while drinking and getting high on drugs. 

The asylum seekers were cheering and clapping their hands during the rape marathon while calling the victim "whore" and "slut". 

For primitive afghans, a "whore" means any non-muslim woman and rape is accepted practice.

A total of 11 rapists were suspected of taking part in the afghan rape marathon. Only 7 were convicted, they got 4.5 - 6.5 years in prison, those expelled are permitted back after a few years. The main suspect who tricked the victim to go with him to the rape den will not even be expelled.

The victim is now in a wheelchair suffering from mental distress.

Germany agrees to give $1billion more to suffering Jews

The German government agreed to significantly expand its funding of home care for infirm Holocaust survivors and relax eligibility criteria for restitution programs to include Jews who spent time in so-called open ghettos.

The agreement, reached after negotiations in Israel with the Claims Conference, will result in approximately $1 billion in funding for home care for Holocaust survivors from 2014-2017. Some of that money — $182 million for 2014 — already had been committed.

In 2015, the amount will rise by 45 percent, to approximately $266 million, and then to $273 million in 2016 and $280 million in 2017.

On Thursday, the Budapest Court upheld the ruling of a lower court, according to MTI. The Court sentenced Nagy to 18 months in prison, suspended for three years, and probation. Swiss Holocaust fund returns $1.3bn to Holocaust victims

The 1998 settlement fund was the result of a class-action lawsuit launched in the United States by Holocaust survivors and victims' families alleging that Swiss banks were making it unnecessarily difficult to access dormant accounts by, for instance, requiring death certificates which typically do not exist for Holocaust victims.

Korman noted that the Swiss banks for decades clung to the dormant accounts and had continued deducting fees from them.

"It wasn't just one bank... It was a conspiracy," he told Beobachter.

According to Swiss news agency ATS, more than 452,000 Holocaust victims and their descendants have received compensation through the fund

On Jews demand, French court orders Twitter to identify racist and anti-Semitic users

Last fall, under pressure from French advocacy group Union of Jewish Students (UEJF), Twitteragreed to remove some offensive tweets. In October 2012, at Berlin’s request, Twitter alsosuspended a German neo-Nazi account based in the city of Hanover, the first time the company had responded to such a government request.

However, at the time, the UEJF also wanted identifying information of the perpetrators, which Twitter was not prepared to give up. So the group went to court to force the issue.

On Thursday, the Grand Instance Court in Paris ordered Twitter to identify the authors of anti-semitic tweets by creating a mechanism (Google Translate) to alert French authorities to “illegal content,” on its French site “in a visible and easily-accessible [way].”

If Twitter does not comply within two weeks, the American company faces fines of €1,000 ($1,336) per day.
