Israel lies above UN and its regulations

In an interview with Israeli Channel 2, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threw internationally-recognized boundaries to the wind, saying that the Western Wall, which lies in a part of UN-administered Jerusalem occupied by Israel in 1967, “is not occupied territory” – and that he “does not care” what the United Nations has to say about it.

@KARMA: Why should Netanyahu, his government, his party or Israeli opposition parties give a damn about UN declarations! After all there are no consequences for defying such declarations just as there are no consequences for Israel having Nukes without becoming a member of the IAEA or similar bodies set up to regulate such armaments.  Equally there are no consequences for the use of white Phosphorus in direct attack on Women and Children and other non-combatants in Gaza.
