Israel, U.S. to embark on largest joint exercise in allies' history

The U.S. has a $3 billion per year commitment to Israel, which [US Assistant Secretary for Foreign Affairs] Shapiro said the Obama Administration would continue to honor over the next ten years, "even in challenging budgetary times".
...
"We support Israel because it is in our national interests to do so," said Shapiro, echoing the recent report by the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, entitled, "Israel: A Strategic Asset for the United States", which argues that Israel is a strategic asset to the U.S. "If Israel were weaker, its enemies would be bolder. This would make broader conflict more likely, which would be catastrophic to American interests in the region. It is the very strength of Israel’s military which deters potential aggressors and helps foster peace and stability."

Tony Blair defends opening the door to mass migration and says it had a very positive impact on Britain

A defiant Mr Blair insisted his party’s policy on immigration was the right one. He said: 'It’s been a very positive thing and there is no way for a country like Britain to succeed in the future unless it is open to people of different colours, faiths and cultures.’

jews on the importance of preserving Israel's racial purity

"To introduce into Israel millions of Arab Palestinians would mean that the Jewish character of the State of Israel would end through a dramatic shifting of the demographic balance. The preservation of the cultural identity of the Jewish people would be threatened, and their right to self-determination would be defeated."
--David Matas, Senior Legal Counsel, B’nai Brith Canada

On the issue of an Arab man being jailed for having consentual sex with a Jewish woman.
"It is important to save our tradition history culture identity because without this, who are we?"

Alina Yad L'achim

“We must confront the fact that the country has not valued education, which is the only way to prevent Jewish women from forging life connections with non-Jews.”
“The struggle against assimilation only reaches headlines through stories about Jewish women marrying Muslim men, but it is important to remember that the phenomenon is much wider – 92,000 mixed families live in the State of Israel. There is a need to create a curriculum for girls in high schools that deals with Jewish identity. The fact that girls reach a state of intermarriage testifies to the fact that the education system was absent.”

committee chairwoman Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) hosted a hearing on the subject in honor of Jewish Identity Day in the Knesset.

“The arrival of thousands of Muslim infiltrators to Israeli territory is a clear threat to the state’s Jewish identity,” Danon told The Jerusalem Post.

“The refugees’ place is not among us, and the initiative to transfer them to Australia is the right and just solution.

“On the one hand, it treats the refugees and migrants in a humane way. On the other hand, it does not threaten Israel’s future and our goal to maintain a clear and solid Jewish majority,” he explained.

MK Danny Danon (Likud)

Iraq owes

In an interview this morning with Meet the Press’ David Gregory, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) repeated her claim that the Iraq should pay America for the privilege of having their nation invaded and occupied for most of the last decade — and then doubled down by calling for Iraq to pay millions of dollars for each American killed in that country:
It’s over 800 billion dollars that we have expended [in Iraq]. I believe that Iraq should pay us back for the money that we spent, and I believe that Iraq should pay the families that lost a loved one several million dollars per life, I think at minimum.

Whites take too much oxigen and should not reproduce

Population growth tends to get blamed on other people: Africans and Asians who have "more kids than they can feed," immigrants in our own country with their "large families," even single mothers in the "inner city."
But actually the population problem is all about me: white, middle-class, American me. Steer the blame right over here.

Well-meaning people have told me that I'm "just the sort of person who should have kids." Au contraire. I'm just the sort of person who should not have kids.
